Susy Wheeler
Teacher
Pilates is a huge part of my life, through teaching the method and promoting the physiological benefits to practising daily for my own personal development and well-being. I trained under The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado. As an ex-Lacrosse player I have always chased the buzz of high intensity exercise regimes and training methods, picking up many injuries along the way and still pushing my body through to ‘achieve’. I then discovered Classical Pilates and it changed my life.
I have used The Classical Method or clients ranging from 86 years of age with severe scoliosis and limited mobility, through to professional dancers, Pilates teachers and athletes. I enjoy working with clients on a one to one basis, personalising sessions to their specific individual needs. Pilates is for everyone. It will heal, strengthen and realign from within and ‘Return you to Life’, as Joseph Pilates intended.
