Day 2 – Saturday 1st June

09.00 – 11.00 – The Classical Reformer

Joe Pilates’ original order and the reasons why. The advanced Reformer workout will help understand how to find the connection of your upper and lower body to the back. Also show you the progression of the exercises. (From supported to challenging to defying)

 

11.30 – 13.30 – All Barrels

Small Barrel, Spine Corrector and Ladder Barrel (2 Hours) This workshop takes you from the important basics of correcting the spine to the advanced of challenging the entire body.

 

14.30 – 16.30 – Big Chair/Little Chair

Probably the two most important Apparatuses for beginners to understand the fundamental movements in Pilates. Also, can be some of the most challenging!!

 

Day 3 – Sunday 2nd June

10.00 – 12.00 – Pilates and Sports

We all do Pilates, but do we use it outside the studio? This workshop shows how to apply the Pilates Method to enhance the four basic athletic movements in sports (push, pull, run and jump) using the Mat, the Reformer, and Chairs. This class will focus on work done after the systems using the different apparatus.

 

13.00 – 15.00 – Wunda Chair

Joe Pilates’ most advanced apparatus. A full workout routine using the Wunda Chair.

 

15.30 – 17.30 – Arm Springs / Leg Springs

Learn to connect the entire body with the Arm Springs / Leg Springs Workout. Both on the Cadillac and standing exercises
