Exhales Master Mat course has been designed for people who want to gain a deeper understanding of the original method of Joseph Pilates called Contrology. It is a course that has also been designed to give you the tools, advice, and support to take your knowledge and turn it into a profitable business.
Whether you want to practice Pilates in the comfort of your own home or take all the information provided and become a knowledgeable, credible & highly sought-after Pilates professional, this course is for you.
This 2-day course includes:
Day 1: Learn the original Classical Pilates exercises from Beginner through to Intermediate and understand the Pilates principles and why Joseph chose each exercise. Build the teaching tools to deliver every exercise with intent & safety for you and your client and develop your teaching skills to take a complete beginner in Pilates through to a client that likes to be challenged.
Day 2: Learn advanced exercises and gain a deeper understanding of how the beginner & intermediate exercises prepare a client for the more challenging advanced exercises. Revisit the background of Joe’s work and how & why the system works.
As an Exhale Pilates-certified classical mat teacher, you’ll be able to teach all levels of classical mat Pilates. You will be qualified to teach 1-1 & group sessions with clients of all levels, ages, abilities.
No previous teaching experience is required but an understanding of the Classical mat sequence is a must. Understanding the fundamentals before embarking on this course will stand you in good stead. We will send you the list once your place has been confirmed.
A minimum of 60 hours’ experience before you take your practical test. Complete the exam successfully and you’ll be certified as an Exhale Pilates Classical Mat teacher.
