The best results aren’t always the ones you can photograph.

The best results are built over time and felt for life.

Thats the Exhale Promise 🫶

Classical Pilates and strength training are like bread and butter. Good on their own. Better together.

Pilates teaches you to move well. Strength teaches you to move heavy.

Together they build a body that lasts.

Movement, motherhood and connection 🤍

Yesterday, we welcomed a wonderful group of mothers to our Primrose Hill studio for our Motherhood Session, in partnership with @wearesmoosh.

Beginning with a Classical Tower class led by Exhale founder, Gaby Noble, and closing with an open conversation between Gaby and Smoosh co-founders, Sophie and Vicky, the afternoon offered mothers space to reconnect with their bodies, share experiences and explore the realities of motherhood.

Thank you to every mother who joined us, for making time for yourselves and bringing such warmth and honesty to the room.

And a huge thank you to @wearesmoosh and our partnering brands, @milk.it.bakehouse and @joeandthejuice, for helping us make the afternoon feel so special.

If you are interested in joining our next Motherhood Class - comment MOTHERHOOD, or drop us a DM. 🫶🏼

Meet Kate Thomas. One of Exhale’s Classical Mat graduates.

“I’ve been teaching Pilates for many years and wanted to deepen my understanding of the classical repertoire. The previous training I had was thorough and taught me so much about how to modify exercises for the general population, but I was craving a course that respected the original method, challenged me personally, and held really high standards. Exhale had an excellent reputation, and from the very beginning I felt it was somewhere I could continue to grow rather than simply collect another qualification.”

3 of the best pieces of Pilates apparatus to undo upper-body tightness after a full-on week!

Beth (owner of @the.reformer.room) came in feeling tight through her upper back after training, working, running after the kids and spending too much time over a laptop.

So we used three pieces of apparatus, using the intelligence of the Pilates system.

1. Spine Corrector
To open the upper back, release the hips and give the body a chance to soften before asking more from it.

2. Electric Chair (also known as the High Chair ☺️)
To keep the space we created on the Spine Corrector, but now connect to building strength and control throughout the body.

3. Teacher’s hands-on (one of the most important)
I always say that sometimes the most intelligent apparatus of all is a teacher’s hands, especially when done with intelligence and purpose. It gives the body a sensation it can understand, organise around and eventually recreate on its own (especially in mat work)

Three tools. One goal

To feel re-energised and that’s exactly how Beth felt after ✨

The perfect antidote to end a busy week. 💪🏼

If you too want to counter act how your body (and brain) feels after a busy week, book a private 1-1 or find one of our new barrel classes on the schedule so you can also feel the incredible benefits when you use the Pilates system has on your body 🙌🏼
