We love having those ‘AH HA’ moments when breaking down exercises.

Who else finds it hard to switch on their glutes and hamstrings in many exercises, especially the Elephant?

To start waking them up and getting that mind to muscle connection, bring your legs closer to your centre and have a slight bend in your knees.

Dig your heels into the mat, lift your abs in and up and try to move your legs from your butt before thinking about anything else. When you can feel your back line active straighten your legs.

Waking muscles up in certain exercise will transfer across many other movement patterns.

This variation was a renowned winner with the team we even got Hannah saying ‘ Its like I’ve got wings for my bum’ 😄🍑🦋

The programme is open to teachers who have been teaching for a minimum of two years. If you’re a contemporary teacher, you should have an advanced working knowledge of the classical system.

Bump and I moving and grooving this morning 🫶🏻

3 things I’ve learnt personally whilst working out pregnant

1️⃣Listen to your body and don’t try and be a hero - you’re a hero creating a baby

2️⃣ Keep the range smaller so bump doesn’t take so much load 🙏🏼

3️⃣ Take regular breaks as boobs and bump can really stifle your lungs 🤪
