📣 NEW Workshop: Pilates for Hypermobility with Willemena

This workshop is specifically for hypermobile clients. You will learn how to set yourself up for success when taking a Reformer, Tower or Mat Pilates class.

Willemina will help you to listen to your own body and give you the tools to build strength and move safely.

You will leave with a specific mini session to take home with you which is safe to do every day and will target the weaknesses of many hypermobile bodies.

It’s all in the detail 👌

Precision in Pilates is so important.

Having the correct set up for an exercise is the perfect example of this.

Take Pull Straps and Backstroke on the Reformer; such powerful exercises that strengthen the back, shoulders and core.

If the set up is not done correctly, it can give the opposite effect and compromise the lower back, shoulders and neck.

Joseph Pilates was a genius and the dimensions of the apparatus were created to support each exercise.

The devil is in the detail with this work and that’s also were the magic happens 🪄

There’s no better way to strengthen your entire body and mind than by utilizing the full Pilates system and its apparatus. ✨

Take our apprentice Abbie, for example. Here she uses the Spine Corrector to enhance and strengthen her sideline work, which requires a strong and stable core and back line.

This focus helps to create more lift & length from both sides of her waist and from her head to her feet.

The feedback she gains from the Spine Corrector translates into her Side Leg Series on the mat, sharpening her intention and maximizing the benefits of each movement. 🔥

Take 5 minutes out of your day to get on the Mat and complete the last of Joe’s original Mat sequence this week.

If you have longer than 5 minutes look back at all the Monday’s over this month of March Matness and complete the sequence together.

Remember repetition builds strength, increased flexibility and above all a deeper connection to our bodies and wow is the full sequence of 34 exercises powerful for our body and mind.
