The Towel Edition with Gaby and Shoshi ✨☺️

The humble towel is a fantastic tool to enhance and support your Pilates practice.

There are many wonderful exercises you can do with it, but one of my favourites is the feedback it gives when doing the roll up. And let’s be honest who doesn’t like a little extra support with this challenging exercise.

After having a c-section 5 months ago, I found it super difficult to roll down with control and roll up with strength so I’ve been using the towel in my workouts and what a difference.

Place the towel in your lower back. You’ll feel the feedback that helps you connect to those deep abdominals to not only strengthen your core but also help you create more space in your spine as you articulate up and down.

It’s a game changer to support a better recruitment of the correct muscles and to not let the back or momentum take over.
