Marta fell in love with Pilates over 15 years ago’ when she was going regularly to Pilates classes trying to recover from a back injury. She soon realised that Pilates was very beneficial – but even more, she really enjoyed practising it. What Marta really found inspiring in Pilates is the focus on precision and alignment, which allows the individual to evolve and improve their physical capacity and strength.
Marta initially qualified as a contemporary Pilates teacher 10 years ago. A few years later, she discovered the classical method which changed her understanding of Pilates as well as improving my strength and she qualified as Classical comprehensive Pilates teacher in 2018. She has been lucky enough to have several wonderful Pilates mentors in London and elsewhere, who have inspired her to pass on this knowledge to others.
“I love teaching classical Pilates: it is the best Method; the apparatus really changes the body and the posture immensely. You feel strong, rewarded and energised after every class.”
