The Pilates Playground 🛝

What happens when you let a group of teachers loose in a Pilates studio?

Joe created a playground full of incredible apparatus and props that make up the complete Pilates system.

If you’re only utilising the Reformer or Tower, you really are missing out! Maybe now is the time to try the lesser known apparatus to explore different movements and challenge the body!

It’s all in the detail 👌

Precision in Pilates is so important.

Having the correct set up for an exercise is the perfect example of this.

Take Pull Straps and Backstroke on the Reformer; such powerful exercises that strengthen the back, shoulders and core.

If the set up is not done correctly, it can give the opposite effect and compromise the lower back, shoulders and neck.

Joseph Pilates was a genius and the dimensions of the apparatus were created to support each exercise.

The devil is in the detail with this work and that’s also were the magic happens 🪄

Pilates and Skincare, a match made in heaven 👌

We hosted an event with our friends @drdavidjack on Friday evening at our Marylebone studio.

We started with Pilates and finished with a talk on skincare by Women’s Health Doctor @drjomennie

The talk went on for an hour as we had so many burning questions on how to get glowing skin 🧖‍♀️

Top takeaway: If you’re going to invest in one product, make it Vitamin C, 10% and it must be active. Always check the ingredient list!

Thanks to @loucohealth for serving smoothies made with ingredients specifically for women 🥤

In our prerequisite you must be able to demonstrate the Intermediate repertoire on the Reformer.

We truly believe that if you have the discipline to prepare for your prerequisite, you have the right mindset to take on the Full Comp. It’s an incredible journey that requires commitment and strength of character.

Exhale’s Classical Mat: The Journey of a Mat Apprentice

When you sign up to our Classical Mat Teacher Training, the support you get goes way beyond the initial weekend course.

There’s a reason we have such a high success rate with our apprentices.

Our dedicated Education Team offer support, guidance and accountability to ensure you get the best out of your course.

You’ll have fortnightly 1:1 catch up calls to talk about your progress and to ask any questions.

You can join our online classes, engage in our WhatsApp groups for peer support and get involved with our content days.

We offer ongoing support after the course to gain advice and our door is always open even after you’ve graduated.
