We’re delighted to be hosting a Classical Mat Pilates class at @theardingrooms wellness morning on Saturday 31st October.

Our founder, Gaby, will be leading a Classical Mat class, strengthening both body and mind, before guests are invited to join a guided facial massage masterclass with @michaellabolder and an ear-seeding workshop with @resette.world.

Following the workshops, Gaby will join a panel discussion, hosted by @vicsmart, to explore the tips, tricks and rituals to better wellbeing … including the power of Pilates.

The morning will also include refreshments, an opportunity to connect with fellow guests and wellness goodies to take home.

Still finding the balance ⚖️

After a few months fully immersing myself back in the business since returning to the UK, and delivering our Full Comprehensive Teacher Training programme to our fabulous new cohort this weekend, I’ve realised I’m still far from mastering the balance between motherhood and business.

But one thing I do know, I’m loving being back, especially teaching and being with the team.

Teaching, mentoring and passing on the method has always been at the heart of Exhale, and it feels like such an exciting time, especially for Exhale Education.

I’m still learning how to juggle it all, that’s for sure.

Passion gets me through the long days and little sleep, but I’m also learning to get back to basics with my own health so I can show up properly for the business and, most importantly, for my not so little baby Gigi. 🥹

There are some big and exciting things being planned for 2027, and I’ve had some brilliant meetings over the past couple of weeks that will allow me to spend much more time doing what I love - teaching, mentoring and working closely with both our education and client communities.

And I genuinely can’t wait. ❤️

For anyone else trying to find their own balance between work, family, health and everything in between, I’m realising there probably isn’t a perfect formula.

Some weeks work needs more of you, some weeks family does, and sometimes you need to put yourself back on the list too. 🙏🏼

Here’s to all of us still figuring that one out! ☺️

Love

A strong core isn’t a look. It’s being able to pick up your kid, carry the shopping, and get off the floor without injuring yourself.

Most classes chase the aesthetic - the flat stomach, the “Pilates body,” the after-photo.

We’re chasing something that actually holds up under real life: the version of strength that shows up when you’re lifting a toddler out of a car seat, carrying four bags in one trip because you refuse to make two, or getting up off the garden floor after gardening for three hours without your back staging a protest.

That strength doesn’t depend on how hard the class was. It’s about whether your body was taught to move well while it worked - controlled, connected, intelligent. Anyone can make you sweat.

Building a body that functions for the other 23 hours of your day takes something else entirely.

Meet the Pedi Pole, a unique piece of apparatus within the Classical Pilates system.

From improving posture and alignment to developing balance, coordination and control, the Pedi Pole offers a range of possibilities to support and refine your movement.

Here, our programme manager, Hannah, explains its design, purpose and how working with it can support your movement, both in the studio and in everyday life.

Want to experience it for yourself? Speak to our team about exploring the Pedi Pole in a private session.

Book via the link in our bio - or send us a message! We hope to see you soon! 🫶🏼

Classical Pilates and strength training are like bread and butter. Good on their own. Better together.

Pilates teaches you to move well. Strength teaches you to move heavy.

Together they build a body that lasts.
