For Ronnie, he wanted to continue his love of cycling and running which is why he has been a consistent and loyal client for over 10 years.

Keeping up his weekly private sessions at Exhale allows him to feel strong, supported and confident allowing him to stay active, injury free and full of energy with his grandchildren.

Myth Busting Monday: Pilates is for Dancers

It’s true that Joseph Pilates taught many dancers in his New York Studio, however it’s important to remember it was originally created by a man for men!

Anyone who has experienced Contrology, Joseph Pilates original method using his apparatus which includes specific dimensions and springs knows what a seriously strong and tough workout it is. You require significant strength and control, emphasising on core stability and muscle engagement 🔥

Pilates may look calm and easy on the surface however there is immense focus and effort beneath. At Exhale we call it The Swan effect ☺️

It’s important though to remember that Pilates was designed to be challenging for all body types and fitness levels, making it an exercise discipline effective for EVERYONE! (men, woman, dancers, athletes and those looking for rehab or overall fitness)
