New to Exhale? Get started with one of our Intro Offers here
Did you know every single Pilates exercise involves not only abdominals, but gluteals as well? In this workshop we will play with set up, execution, efficient cues including hands on feedback, in order to maximise the posterior chain.
We will discuss also biomechanics and creating movements scenarios where the gluteals are firing naturally without squeezing or gripping. Tips and tricks for your clients with lazy backlines to promote strength, flexibility and power.
This will take place in our Marylebone studio on Saturday 28th of March from 3-6pm.
I am so happy to join the Exhale family! I love guiding clients in their Pilates journey to find their internal ‘push and pulls’, creating strong and confident bodies with great posture. Seeing the happiness clients earn from Pilates, be it injury recovery or just moving their bodies, is my biggest reward. A sports background (athletics, rowing, skiing, dance, tennis) has helped create a great eye for technique and alignment in my teaching, while making sure clients also have fun!
My first Pilates class years ago was a revelation to my spine after years of sitting work as a nutrition scientist. In 2010, I trained as a contemporary teacher (Body Control UK), opened a studio in Switzerland then Canada, bringing Pilates to ski towns. I discovered classical Pilates in Switzerland in 2012– aha, the the missing piece of the puzzle! Henceforth, I soaked up every classical opportunity (The Vertical Workshop), and still learning here today with Bridging with Exhale. Teaching is an evolution, never stop learning and growing!
