This is probably the most honest you’ve ever heard our founder, Gaby.

In this conversation with Jacqui, of @shedidsoican nothing is really off limits.

Building a business. The highs and the lows. IVF. Motherhood. The juggle of trying to be present at home while still leading a company.

There’s a lot people see from the outside.

This is the part they don’t.

An incredibly open conversation about what it has actually taken to build Exhale, navigate life behind it, and keep going through some of the hardest chapters.

The full episode goes live this week

Here’s another little piece of it. 🤍

A strong core isn’t a look. It’s being able to pick up your kid, carry the shopping, and get off the floor without injuring yourself.

Most classes chase the aesthetic - the flat stomach, the “Pilates body,” the after-photo.

We’re chasing something that actually holds up under real life: the version of strength that shows up when you’re lifting a toddler out of a car seat, carrying four bags in one trip because you refuse to make two, or getting up off the garden floor after gardening for three hours without your back staging a protest.

That strength doesn’t depend on how hard the class was. It’s about whether your body was taught to move well while it worked - controlled, connected, intelligent. Anyone can make you sweat.

Building a body that functions for the other 23 hours of your day takes something else entirely.

Meet Kate Thomas. One of Exhale’s Classical Mat graduates.

“I’ve been teaching Pilates for many years and wanted to deepen my understanding of the classical repertoire. The previous training I had was thorough and taught me so much about how to modify exercises for the general population, but I was craving a course that respected the original method, challenged me personally, and held really high standards. Exhale had an excellent reputation, and from the very beginning I felt it was somewhere I could continue to grow rather than simply collect another qualification.”

POV: Vibration plates are cool but have you ever tried the hundred?

💡Did you know Joseph Pilates created exercises to boost the lymphatic system (amongst other things) which he called the ‘internal shower’.

So the next time you’re putting off doing the hundred remind yourself it’s cheaper than a vibration plate, does the same thing, plus it’s a full body workout 🔥

We’ve made updates to our timetable to give you more opportunity to work the Pilates system, and the right levels to meet you where you’re at on your journey.

Check out our new additions and there’s more coming very soon.

Tower & Barrel: Release tension, decompress the spine, and build serious core strength, all without any pressure on your lower back.

Tower & The Classical Mat: The Tower gives you feedback and alignment; the Mat asks you to hold that same control using nothing but your own strength.

Pilates Prep: A gentle pre-Pilates class for absolute beginners, anyone returning after time away, or those who want to move at a slower pace.

All three are live on the timetable now click the link in bio to book.
