WOW what a weekend at the Oysho Community Day in London!

Two days, two Classical Mat classes with 120 people in each one and 600 on the waitlist.

It was so wonderful to see so many doing Classical Pilates Exhale Pilates style.

Huge well done to our teaching team and our apprentices who joined to give hands on support to the participants.

Thank you to everyone who showed up this weekend and to Oysho for having us.

It’s all happening at Exhale at the moment and we’re so excited to announce our next partnership on Tuesday 🙌

“Thank you, Gaby, for making me a grandma again, and giving me my life back.” — Cristy

Cristy came to me from America after a stroke, hoping time with her daughter Amanda (who is now one of our amazing teachers) and her grandchildren might lift her spirits.

She arrived feeling very low, unable to walk and with little sensation on her right side, despite 9 months of physio.

We worked together 3 times a week for 3 months using the Pilates system to rebuild strength, trust, and confidence in her body.

Step by step, she began to change.

She went from not walking to taking over 10 unaided steps (as seen here), and even began to feel sensation return.

I’ll never forget her telling me she could feel her hand again… I cried, and she laughed and comforted me.

Cristy reminded me that this work is about so much more than movement—it’s trust, belief, and connection.

She will always be one of the reasons I do what I do. 🫶🏼

Over 12 years ago I met the woman I now call my Pilates mummy.

Olga Tamara became my first real mentor in the Classical Pilates world, and I am beyond excited to welcome her to Exhale after not seeing her for so many years to deliver her incredible workshop: The Power of Touch. ✨

In this three-hour workshop, Olga explores the role and importance of touch. How we use it ethically, intentionally and with real clarity.

With practical work on the Reformer, Wunda Chair and Cadillac/Tower, you’ll refine your tactile cueing skills while learning how to integrate visual, verbal and experiential cues to better support motor learning, proprioception and efficient movement.

This is about teaching with warmth, precision and confidence learning to say less, guide more, and truly meet the person in front of you.

*Teachers from all schools and backgrounds are welcome

‘Here comes the Exhale Bride 👰

Arabella came to Exhale wanting to feel her best for her wedding day. In the process, she has gone from someone who viewed exercise as a chore to someone who genuinely looks forward to her 3 visits to the studio a week - she never misses her early morning Pilates class at Marylebone!

It’s been incredible to see how much she has progressed with a mix of Private sessions and Tower and Reformer classes.’
